Mode 2 is file upload of security or operational events.
Supported upload types: CSV, JSON, and Parquet (table → records). Spreadsheet workbooks (`.xlsx`) are for Mode 1 assets, not Mode 2 event batches.
Each batch is parsed, mapped through your field mappings, and counted against the account’s daily ingest meter (shared with Mode 1 and Mode 3).
Raw event bodies are retained only for the included window (24 hours) unless you purchased a retention add-on.
Do not paste API keys or secrets into uploaded files.
