Spike Detection watches an Asset series for unusual polarity moves (up or down).
· Rules live under Spike Detection. You can enable or disable a rule, including background evaluation.
· Fires appear as Spike events with asset, series, polarity, and time.
· Spike email to Notification contacts is held until the founder lifts that hold.
A Spike fire is not automatically an “incident.” Review the series before changing SQL, recycle, or pool size — those are not customer actions.
